BASES OF THE SUPPORT PROGRAM TO RESIDENT ARTISTS TNT 24-25

OBJECT

TNT opens a new call for creators, both established and emerging, who want to develop a new creative project and whose line of research is in the field of new artistic languages, the hybrid scene, research and innovation.

Applications can be submitted from the moment of publication of this call until June 3 (until 11:59 p.m.). The resolution of the call will be published on the festival’s website and will be notified directly to the selected candidates.

RESIDENCE

The aim of this residency program is to support creators who work in the field of living arts, providing resources that allow them to research, create and share creative processes with the community. The project presented can be in any of its development phases (research, creation, pre-production, etc.).

The selected artists will be able to develop their process in residence during the period between January and September 2025. All the resulting creations will be part of the TNT 2025 programme.

This modality has a total amount of €79,680, which will be distributed between a maximum of 6 residences. Part of this amount will be paid during the 2024 budget year and the remaining part at the end of the TNT 2025 festival.

The residences will consist of:

– Economic support. It will be assessed based on the budget presented. The contract will be carried out in co-production format.

– Rehearsal room during the dates and times that are agreed according to the needs and availability of the rooms (maximum stay 4 weeks).

– Possibility of artistic, production, technical and mediation support according to the needs of creators.

– Diffusion and support in communication.

– Accompaniment in gathering support from other institutions, agents, groups and structures, both on a national and international scale.

– Technical residency of a minimum duration of seven days.

It will be the obligation of the resident artists:

– During TNT 2024, on Friday 27 September, the professional day will be organized during which the selected artists will make a short presentation of their project in the format they prefer.

– Make a short audiovisual presentation capsule of your project in order to make it known to both national and international professionals.

– Carry out, at the very least, an action linked to the territory and the local public, such as an opening of the creation process to citizens or a mediation activity aimed at non-professional groups.

– Present the piece as part of the TNT 2025 programme.

COMMISSION AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

The projects will be evaluated by an artistic commission made up of five members, including the director of TNT, and four other people with recognized professional backgrounds, both nationally and internationally.

The criteria that will be taken into account when selecting the projects are:

– Artistic quality, contemporaneity, rigor and feasibility

– Formal innovation and transdisciplinary character

– Adaptation to the artistic line of the festival and its media

– Professional trajectory

If the committee deems it necessary, candidates may be requested for an interview.

DOCUMENTATION TO PROVIDE

The period for receiving projects is established from May 22 and until June 3 at 11:59 p.m. Registration must be done through the TNT website by filling out the online form and attaching all the required information.
