BASES OF THE SUPPORT PROGRAM TO RESIDENT ARTISTS TNT 25-26

OBJECT

TNT opens a new call for creators, both established and emerging, who wish to develop a new creative project. The call is aimed at artists working within the field of new artistic languages, hybrid performance, research, and innovation.
Applications may be submitted from the date of publication of this call until June 4th (at 11:59 PM). The results will be published on the festival’s website and directly communicated to the selected candidates.

RESIDENCE

The aim of this residency program is to support creators working in the field of live arts by providing resources that allow them to research, create, and share their creative processes with the community. The submitted project can be in any phase of development (research, creation, pre-production, etc.).
Selected artists will carry out their residency between January and September 2026. All resulting creations will be part of the TNT 2026 program.
The total budget for this modality is €67,760, which will be distributed among 5 residencies. Part of the amount will be paid during the 2025 fiscal year, and the remainder after the TNT 2026 festival concludes.

Each residency will include:

Financial support, evaluated based on the submitted budget and nature of the project. The contract will be in the form of a co-production.
Rehearsal space, according to the agreed schedule and room availability (minimum stay of 2 weeks, maximum of 4 weeks).
Artistic, production, technical, and mediation support, depending on the creators’ needs.
Communication and publicity support.
Assistance in securing support from other institutions, agents, collectives, and structures, both nationally and internationally.
A 7-day technical residency, either in the municipal theatres of Terrassa or in collaboration with other venues or creative spaces.
Resident artists will be required to:

Participate in the professional day held during TNT 2026 on Friday, October 4th, where selected artists will give a short on-stage presentation of their project in their preferred format.
Create a short video capsule introducing their project, to help share it with national and international professionals who cannot attend the presentation.
Carry out at least one action involving the local area and public, such as an open rehearsal or a mediation activity aimed at non-professional groups.
Present the final piece as part of the TNT 2026 program.

SELECTION COMMITTEE AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

Projects will be evaluated by an artistic committee composed of four members: the TNT director and three other professionals with recognized national and international experience.
The evaluation criteria will include:

Artistic quality, contemporary relevance, rigor, and feasibility
Formal innovation and transdisciplinary approach
Alignment with the artistic vision and resources of the festival
Professional track record
If the committee deems it necessary, applicants may be invited to an interview.
